Oracle WebADI Define Mapping Step by Step with Diagrams |Oracle E-Business Suite

Mapping is defined when we want to show some data when the spreadsheet loads.

A mapping is used to map all the columns that could possibly exist in the import, with all of the fields that could exist in a document.

New mappings do not need to be created if data does not exist for a mapped field.

Let's check out how to define a mapping for an integrator.

Navigate to below responsibility.

→ Desktop Integrator → Define Mapping

→ Select the Integrator name for which you want to define the mapping.

→ Once you click on "Go", If we already have a mapping defined for the chosen Integrator then it will display that mapping else it will give the below message.
→ Now Click on the "Define Mapping" button and enter the below info.
Mapping Name: <Give a Name>
Mapping Key:<Give a Unique Name>
Number of Columns:<No. of Cols to be mapped>

→ Once you click on "Next", it will display the below page.
→ Now click on Source Column "LOV" Button and select the columns from the list of columns displayed.

→ Once you select the source column now click on the Target LOV button and select the column to be mapped with the source column.

→ Once we are done with mapping the source column with the target column click on the "Apply" button.

→ Now the Mapping is done for the integrator.
