Enable Diagnostics, Personalization and Profile Options in OAF and FORMS

Enable Diagnostics and Personalization.
How to enable Diagnostics and Personalization link in Form and OAF page.

First let us check for OAF pages.
As a normal user the “Personalization”, “About this Page” and “Diagnostics” links are disabled and these can be managed with the below profile options.

FND: Personalization Region Link Enabled

FND: Diagnostics

Disable Self-Service Personal

Personalize Self-Service Defn

This profile option is used to enable the “Personalization” link; it will appear at top of the page.
Set this profile option to “Yes”.

FND: Personalization Region Link Enabled
By using this profile option you can enable the “Personalization” at region level.
Set this to “Yes” if you want to check the personalization at region level.

FND: Diagnostics
This profile option is used to enable the “Diagnostic” link; it will appear at top of the page.
Set this to “Yes” if you want to diagnose the page.

Disable Self-Service Personal
By using this profile option you can disable all the personalization which was done on the OAF page.

After enabling the Diagnostics you can check the queries, steps fired during the page execution



Now let us check in FORMS.

By default the diagnostic link is displayed in FORM’s
Following are the profile option used in Oracle Forms to enable “Diagnostics”

Utilities:Diagnostics
This profile option is used to enable the “Diagnostics” link in Oracle Forms.
Set this to “Yes” if you want to enable “Diagnostics”.

Hide Diagnostics menu entry
By using this profile option you can hide the diagnostics link for a particular user or responsibility or organization.


After enabling the Profile Option you will see the diagnostic link.
